Born from the artist’s own generous and deeply personal gesture, the Guido Molinari Foundation exists to celebrate, preserve, and carry forward the remarkable creative legacy of one of Québec’s most visionary artists. Housed within Molinari’s very last studio — a beautifully repurposed former bank nestled in the vibrant Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighbourhood — this extraordinary space serves as an exhibition, documentation, conference, education, and creation centre unlike any other.

At its heart, the Foundation maintains a dedicated reference museum for Molinari’s body of work, while also creating meaningful space for contemporary artists whose practice resonates with the questions and ideas his work so powerfully raised. Through thoughtful exhibitions, rich theoretical dialogue, and inspired transhistorical conversations, the Foundation invites artists, curators, and art lovers alike to revisit the landmarks of art history through a bold and refreshingly present-day lens.

A place where the past and the present speak to one another — and where great art continues to ask great questions.
