Lost And Found At YUL Airport
How To Recover Your Belongings

We’re here to help

Losing something while travelling can be unsettling — we understand. Whether you left an item inside the terminal, on a plane, in a taxi, or on a shuttle, here’s exactly what to do to get it back.

Items lost inside the airport

If you’ve left a personal item in a public area of the airport — whether a washroom, restaurant, parking area, or boarding zone — please fill out the Lost Item Form Online. The more details you can provide (brand, color, size, serial number, or distinguishing features), the easier it will be to locate your item.

Where to claim your item

The airport cloakroom is located at the arrivals level, between Doors 21 and 23. The lost and found service is available from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Contact Us:
Telephone: 514 633-3333, option 2
Toll-free: 1 800 465-1213, option 2

Online requests receive a response within 24 to 48 hours.

Please note that items deposited with the Lost and Found department are kept for a period of 60 days. After that time, unclaimed articles are donated to charity. Items that are perishable, of minimal value, or in poor condition may be donated or disposed of without delay.

Items left on board an aircraft

If you forgot something on the plane or in the baggage carousel area, please reach out directly to your Airline. They are best positioned to help locate your item. Be sure to include as many details as possible: brand, color, size, serial number, or any distinguishing characteristics.

Items left in a taxi or parking shuttle

If you’ve left something behind in a taxi or on a parking shuttle, please complete the Lost Item Form Online with as many details as you can. You may also call the Lost and Found counter or visit in person.

Lost or missing luggage

If your suitcase doesn’t appear on the carousel, report the situation immediately to your Airline. Your airline is responsible for all checked baggage from the check-in counter through to the carousel at your final destination.

If your airline confirms that your luggage is at YUL and you’d like to pick it up yourself, head to Door 28 at the arrivals level. You’ll find phones just in front of Door 28 — follow the instructions on the black phones and an agent will assist you with the retrieval process. Be sure to check your airline’s hours of operation before making the trip.
